Professional Animator Survey

I ran into this post from animation mentor a few days back. They ran a survey to get some input on the health of the animation industry. The survey consisted of over 1000 professional animators from around the world.

There was a lot of great stuff to keep in mind for people still deciding weather or not to get into the industry. It seemed very informative and interesting to read, although some of there statements are somewhat confusing and vaguely connected to "happiness". They explain some of the correlation between personal satisfaction and creative freedoms. They cover a lot of average earning details as'well. I found it interesting to hear that 51% of the animators make between 40k and 80k annually.

If you have the time, I would highly recommend checking it out!
